Bio

David S. Frydman is the principal of Frydman LLC and has been practicing complex business litigation in New York City for over twenty-five years. Mr. Frydman was a litigation associate and partner with several commercial law firms and formed his own firm in 2000. He enthusiastically engages in aggressive litigation. Mr. Frydman also is skilled in resolving complex disputes in direct negotiation, arbitration and mediation. With the use of technology, appropriate and supervised staffing and attention to expenses, Mr. Frydman and his firm provide effective and cost conscious legal services.

Mr. Frydman's clients have included public corporations, private companies, partnerships, developers, banks, investment funds, investors, broker dealers, entrepreneurs, bankers, business people and professionals. The firm's clients are involved in various industries, including finance, construction, real estate development, manufacturing, technology, barter and professional services. As a tenacious and successful litigator and business lawyer, Mr. Frydman has enjoyed relationships with referring attorneys and clients, in many instances for a decade or more.

Mr. Frydman routinely litigates with and against sophisticated litigation counsel in New York and acts as local counsel for law firms and clients across the country and overseas. Mr. Frydman appears in the state court commercial parts, Surrogate's Court, Federal District Court and Bankruptcy Court, appellate courts, FINRA and various private arbitration and mediation forums. Mr. Frydman's practice has also involved proceedings in Arkansas, Illinois, Florida, California, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts and other states.

In addition to providing litigation services, Mr. Frydman serves as a trusted advisor and outside general counsel and, on an as requested basis, provides or supervises corporate legal services such as leasing, drafting and negotiating license agreements, development agreements, service agreements, sales agreements, distribution agreements and templates for business forms.

Mr. Frydman is AV rated by Martindale Hubell, the highest peer review rating which is "a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence." Mr. Frydman has also been selected to the exclusive New York Super Lawyers list. Mr. Frydman is a graduate of Rye Country Day School, Tufts University and as a scholarship recipient Brooklyn Law School.
