I founded my law firm in 1993, and my firm has grown substantially over the past 3 decades. I have represented several Fortune 50 companies, and I have also represented small businesses. I can't recall the number of cases I have litigated or how many major transactions I handled. However, I have tried cases all over the world (including Germany), and in many different States in the US. I have tried cases in federal court, state court and in bankruptcy court, as well as appeals in the court of appeals and supreme court in Michigan and appeals in the US Court of Appeals. My longest trial was 6 weeks, and I have tried other cases that lasted several weeks in state and federal court. Many of my cases were "bet the company" lawsuits where I represented either the Plaintiff or Defendant. This includes an extremely large commercial real estate lawsuit where over $200 million was at stake. We won the case and the verdict was upheld on appeal.
